Terms of use
KLAKS is a free service that lets anyone reach a car's owner without learning anything about them. This page is the agreement between us, kept short and plain.

What the service does
It delivers a message to a car's owner without revealing their number, their name or their plate. Whoever scans the code picks a ready-made reason — "your car is blocking me", "your window is open" — and no free text is ever sent. The service is completely free, and there are no fees.
No promise that an alert arrives
We do everything we can to get the alert through quickly: a notification on the phone, and WhatsApp when that doesn't land. But all of it rides the public internet and other companies' services, so we cannot guarantee that every alert arrives, or that it arrives within any particular time. If there is real danger, call the emergency services — do not rely on KLAKS alone.
What is and isn't allowed
The service is for alerting a car's owner about something concerning their car. Do not use it to harass or threaten anyone, do not send false alerts, do not send repeatedly to pester someone, do not try to identify a car's owner, and do not use it for anything unlawful. Devices that do are blocked from sending, without warning.
The sticker is your responsibility
You print the sticker, you stick it on, and you look after it. Anyone holding the code can send you an alert, so don't post a picture of it online and don't put it somewhere unsuitable. If it is lost, or someone starts pestering you with it, you can pause it or generate a new code from inside the app in a second.
We may suspend an account
If the service is misused, or used in a way that harms someone, we may suspend the account or its stickers, and delete them if it happens again. We may also change the service or discontinue part of it at any time, and we will tell you beforehand if the change affects you. On your side, you can delete your account completely from settings at any time, with nobody to ask.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and any dispute goes before the Egyptian courts. If you have a question, a complaint or a problem, email us at support@klaksapp.com and we will answer. If we change anything on this page, the date above changes with it.
